The Jungnamjin AQUA Festival is a festival of water and forests in midsummer which is held near Tamjin River and Jungnamjin Jangheung that is situated on the end of southern coast of Korea with the natural advantages of scenic beauty in the harmony of clean rivers, lakes, ocean and beautiful mountains.
This festival was awarded the best brand prize by consumers in 2008. It is representative of southern Korea and a new landmark in Jeollanam Province.
The confluence of water from Jungkangjin(the Amnokgang River), Jungdongjin(Kyeongpoho), Jeongjungang(YangGu-gun), Jungnamjin(Jangheung-gun, Tamjin River) will offer a significant meaning as a highlight in the festival.
The confluence of water which comes from the northernmost Jungkangjin(the Amnokgang River), Jungdongjin(Kyeongpoho) on the east, Jeongjungang(Yanggu-gun) and Jungnamjin
(Jangheung County, Tamjin River) on the south in Korea is a highlight of the festival attended by the Mayor of Jeollanam Province, the Magistrate of Jangheung County and invited personages and will offer significant meaning and a powerful impression to participating representatives in each country in Korea.
